Celestial Foundation is a Non Profit Organization (NGO) founded in 2007 by Ms. Patrice Moore and Mr. Sherwin Fortune with the aim of transforming the lives of children and families by showing love and affections, by providing encouragement, motivation, information, education and other benefits for the entire family. 

While, providing direct services to children and families in distress, abused, abandoned or neglected within the community in which they work and live.

As a group of concern persons considered the increase in crime, abuse and neglect within families plaguing the society, Celestial Foundation was formed.
With the not so obvious fact that society has degraded mainly because of the breakdown of the family institution, Celestial Foundation was birthed with the hope of bringing families together and promoting the good in our local family lives that will evidently cause these ills to be reduced.

Providing opportunities for families to spend quality time together, re-emphasizing the importance of the need for the Father figure in the home and provide the necessary support for family members as traditional values and morals are re-introduce.

Celestial Foundation is led by a team of big hearted, passionate and competent Directors and Executive Members who includes:

Mission statement
To develop and implement programs and structures, as well as partnering with others to bring training, skills development and help of every kind for the overall development of families.

Our national priority is to engage people everywhere in the promoting of the well-being of families with special emphasis on children and their protection from harm.

GOALS
In order to successfully complete our mission, we are developing projects that will aid us to come one step closer to achieving our goals, projects coming on stream in the near future such as:

  • Early Childhood Development Programmes – Where parents can leave their children during working hours in the care of qualified and trust worthy caretakers knowing that they are safe.
  • Life Challenges – A programme for boys and girls with various addictions (sex , alcohol, substance abuse etc)
  • Counselling Sessions – where families can have a safe haven to come and talk about the problems they are encountering and have there needs met. These Counselling Sessions are free and will be open to the general public. Extreme Confidentiality will be maintained at all levels with this particular project.
  • Families Hunger Fund- Solicits donations of food, clothing, personal hygiene items , medicines, medical supplies and other relief materials from companies and deliver products to families in need.
  • Families Now – Provides an unlimited source of resources through networking for a varying number of family issues including education, health, violence, etc.
  • Family Help Hotlines – where families can have an avenue to call for help and speak to professional counsellors with emergency cases.
  • Children at Risk- The reduction of child mortality in Trinidad.
